I use this product to make food for my macrobiotic household. Nothing can compare with brown rice cooked in a pressure cooker after being soaked in spring water overnight. Cooking vegetables takes minutes and nutrients are left intact. Anyone who is afraid of cooking with a pressure cooker needs to get over it- these appliances are safe and easy to operate. I couldn't live (as well) without mine.
